NSW Grandparents Day Storytime with Cathie Colless

About the Book My Grandma Wears Sneakers began with a desire to update the image of grandmothers in children’s books, reflecting how we live differently in 2024. The story highlights the various names grandmothers are called, their special role in children’s lives, and the beautiful relationships that often exist. Though a children’s book narrated by children, it also serves as a tribute to grandmothers, enjoyed by both young and old. About the Author Cathie Colless has called Come-by-Chance in north-western NSW home for the past 40 years, where she has been a key part of her family’s agricultural business. Writing has always been a passion of hers, and she enjoys the challenge of crafting clear, concise, and engaging content.
