Digital Sign Promotion

Location of the sign

• The LED board is located in Dundas Park, Narromine.
  

Purpose of the sign

• Maximise exposure of local and regional events
  
• Provide communication between Council and the Community 

Guidelines for inclusion

• Events listed must comply with the Events Calendar Guidelines and are uploaded by the event organiser to Narromine.nsw.gov.au will be considered for placement on the sign
  
• Messages are restricted for 4-weeks (28 consecutive days)
  
• Sports home games and general competition games will be refused
  
• Note: availability will be based on a first in best dressed basis 

• Organisations that help promote the region will be considered
  
• Only one not for profit organisation can promote their message at a time
  
• Messages are restricted for 1 week (7 consecutive days)
  
• Membership drives and registration events will be refused
  
• Note: availability will be based on a first in best dressed basis 

Cost

• Local events held within the LGA will NOT be charged to promote their event
  
• Regional events held outside of the LGA will incur a fee of $175 to promote their event (for a maximum of 28 days)
  

Reason for advertising refusal

• Messages with a commercial focus
  
• Messages promoting community groups/activities, peak industry bodies, community groups, religious groups or political parties
  
• Messages that do not promote the LGA or Narromine Shire Council in a positive manner
  
• Messages promoting tobacco or alcohol use or distribution thereof
  
• Messages affecting Council’s public image
  
• Messages that are offensive and racists
